The Big Bad Bolf!
Taylor said the cutest thing the other day. She went outside to help me water and lately she has kept telling me that there is a wolf outside, or as she calls it the big bad bolf. Well, she started talking about this wolf while we were out watering. Our neighbors are doing construction on their house so there is lots of noise going on all the time. All of the sudden, one of the construction workers started snorting and it did sound like some kind of animal, Taylor screams mommy there's the big bad bolf. haha!!! I guess she was right it did sound like wolf. I just love kids imagination.

What's a Mother to do?
We had a terrible scare yesterday. I took grace and taylor to a birthday party right when we were getting ready to leave I heard Taylor scream, when I turned around all I saw was her running towards me with blood running down her face. I'm still not for sure what happened except that she got hurt on a swing. I had to take her to the emergency room and she needed stitches, but because the cut was right underneath her eye they didn't want to put stitches so they cleaned it well and then put about 5 butterfly Band-Aids on there. The worst part was that she had a huge knot on her head also. I have never seen a knot that big, and when we got home she started throwing up. I thought that we would have to go back to the hospital, but i really started praying. I had her laying on me and she was so out of it and wouldn't talk or anything, all of the sudden the baby started kicking and she could feel him. She immediately set up and started saying mommy I can feel the baby. She totally came too and started talking and wanting to play.
Here are some pictures of how she looked yesterday and today. I'm praise the Lord that He protected her.

Mother's Classes!
Last week we were able to have classes for ladies who are expecting and new mothers. A friend of mine at church here is a nutritionist and she taught on how you should eat before durning and after the pregnancy. She also taught on exercise, vaccinations, and many other things.
I was able to teach on how the baby grows, how to change a diaper, how to bathe a baby, and many other things.
The Lord really blessed we had 18 the first night with 4 first time visitors and 23 the second night with 2 visitors. It was a lot of work but I really enjoyed it!

We are so excited to announce...
Well Friday proved to be a very interesting day. First of all I went to a breakfast birthday party and a friend of mine who used the same doctor as I am told me that the man who does the ultra sound does not try very hard to see what the baby is. I was disappointed to find that out but I had an appointment so I went. The man didn't even try at all. Thankfully, my friend found this little whole in the wall place that does great ultra sounds. So Kevin and I went there Friday evening. We walked in I told the doctor that We wanted to know what we are having within 30 sec. he told us!!!! Needless to say we are very excited and trying to pick out a name!

Alacran
Today our neighbors called my cell phone. I was scared because I thought something happened in our house. Come to find out an alacran bit their son. What is an alacran? They are kinda of like scorpions. Where we live we find them all the time in our house. Most of them are not poisonous but when they bite it really hurts. Some people run really high fevers and are in a lots of pain. Come to find out our neighbor was calling me to find out what to do for his son. Why? Because one bit Taylor a few months ago. It was awful for me. I think I cried more than Taylor. After taking an allergy medicine she was fine.
We have to be really careful because they like any clothing or sheets that are white or light colored, or they like to stay in shoes. Thankfully our neighbor boy is ok.
The really funny thing is that a lot of our neighbors and people at church call me when they are sick to see what they need. Maybe I should have studied nursing haha!
Why do bad things happen?
I have a friend who is a missionary in Africa. When she was 7 months pregnant she got Malaria. How scary! Well, when we were in peru and I was pregnant with Taylor I got chicken pox. Now you tell me who gets chicken pox at the age of 25 and when they are pregnant? Not too many people. I can say it was one of the worst times of my life. Not only did I have morning sickness, I had chicken pox all over me. On top of that, I was in another country having to speak spanish.
At the time I really didn't understand why God would allow that to happen to me and mainly my baby. I was told that usually what happens is that the baby's brain stops growing and that Taylor could be born dead, if not that she could be born deaf or blind. You try not to worry but how can you not. I praise the Lord that Taylor was born perfect. She is one of the smartest children I have ever met.
Now after my friend wrote me about having malaria and being worried about her baby I know why I had chicken pox. I was able to tell her that the Lord does preform miracles and that He protects even the unborn child. Her baby will be born in December, and I'm praying that her child will be healthy.
Sometimes we can't understand why things happen at that time but I have been able to share my story with lots of new mothers to encourage them. Although, I thought it was the worst thing ever in my life the Lord has taught me that it has been an actual blessing to be able to help others, and learn to trust more in my Lord.
